Some questions and Answers about HG8546M that ISP encountered

Q: We bought Huawei ONT HG8546M, but when we add it to our network , the V1R9 U2000 is asking for a XML file related to HG8546M, what's the problem?

A: From your sreenshot,it is a "capability.XML" file, which is contained in the U2000 version file,your R9 U2000 have Huawei ONT R12, R13 capability.XML, but have no R16 or later capability.XML., so you need a new version U2000 with ONT R16 or later capability.XML.included.

Q: In our network, we only have R9 U2000 to manage Huawei OLT ONT, do you have one with newer version?

A: We have R14 U2000 at hand, but it hasn't been installed yet, because we have a Huawei OSN 6800 project which needs R9 U2000.

Q: May I have R14 U2000 for testing my HG8546M?
