Huawei MA5616 64 channels POTS service board ASPB Introduction

Huawei ADPB is POTS board of Huawei DSLAM MA5616, 64 channels POTS service board that provides POTS access service. Huawei ASPB has 3 different models H837ASPB, H838ASPB, H839ASPB. Please note 2 PCS subscriber cable should purchase separately with ASPB board.

  • Apply to Huawei MA5616 system.
  • ASPB has the following model names: H837ASPB, H838ASPB, H839ASPB, same function with different chipset
  • ASPB doesn't come with subscriber cable

FAQ: 

Q: What is the difference between H837ASPB H838ASPB H839ASPB?
AH837ASPB has the same functions as H838ASPB; therefore, H837ASPB can substitute for H838ASPB.
 Compared with H837ASPB/H838ASPB, H839ASPB supports a new function: direct current-isolated (DC-I) grounding.

Q: How many subscriber cables each ASPB will need?
A: Each ASPB 2 cables.

Q: How many ASPB cards supported in 1 MA5616?
A: 4 Units.

Can Huawei VDSL2 VDLE support vectoring function?

Q: Does Huawei 32-channel VDSL2 over POTS board VDLE have vectoring function?

A: No,VDLE cannot support vectoring.


Q: What board can support vectoring? we have a Huawei DSLAM MA5616 configured with ADLE,CCUE and PAIA,but now we need the vectoring function.

A: H83BVCLE (32-channel VDSL2 over POTS),H83BVCLF (32-channel VDSL2), H83BVCMM and  H83DVCMM(48-channel VDSL2) can support.


Q: Then I only need add a VCLE board to the existed MA5616 Chassis?

A: No, these vectoring service boards support the vectoring by working with the enhanced subrack MABB, main control board CCUE and power board PDVAA.
